About MeloCat
I’ve always had a special connection with cats. Friends joke that I must’ve been one in a past life, and honestly? I kind of believe them. Whether it’s reading their moods or helping others understand their behavior, I somehow just get them—and that intuition has shaped my entire journey.
My love for animals started young, but cats have always held a unique place in my heart. My mom still tells the story of how I calmly handled my first cat after a scratch—explaining even back then that it must’ve been something bothering the cat, not just “bad behavior.”
When I moved to Hong Kong, I had to rethink how to raise cats in a high-rise apartment lifestyle. After a few quiet, pet-free years while working in Taiwan, I adopted a bonded pair—GorGor and MuiMui—and slowly transformed my home into a cozy vertical cat haven. I learned that it’s not about how much space you have, but how intentionally you use it.
Over time, people around me started coming to me for advice, support, and even hands-on help with their cats. I’ve personally assisted with over 200 cats through my own network—friends, neighbors, and fellow animal lovers who knew they could count on me. I don’t even call myself a rescuer. I’m just someone who deeply loves cats and happens to know how to help.
Today, I create content for cat parents all over the world—offering tips, honest stories, and heartfelt advice that I hope will enrich both your life and your cat’s.
