Hong Kong Cat Expo 2024 (香港貓迷博覽會2024)

At the Hong Kong Cat Expo 2024 (香港貓迷博覽會), I had the joy of stepping onto the main stage as MeloCat — chatting with Antony from CatisCat Hong Kong about everything from feline nutrition and daily care to lifestyle tips for modern cat parents.

It wasn’t just another pet expo moment — it was a conversation between two passionate cat lovers who genuinely live what we talk about. Together, we explored what holistic cat care really means today: balancing good food, safe environments, mental stimulation, and the human-cat bond that makes it all worthwhile.

As someone who’s raised a dozen cats and built a life around understanding them, I wanted this session to go beyond product talk. We discussed:

• How to choose cat food wisely — what really matters on a label

• How to create enriching home environments even in small spaces

• The emotional side of caregiving — because every meow tells a story

• Lifestyle insights from my own experience living with 12 cats in a vertical apartment setup

What I loved most about this session was seeing the audience nod, laugh, and share their own experiences. Whether they were first-time adopters or lifelong cat parents, everyone came together for one reason — we all just want our cats to live happier, healthier lives.

My goal has always been to make information relatable — to translate expert knowledge into warm, real-world stories people remember. This session was exactly that: part education, part heart-to-heart.
