As someone who lives with a large furry family and has spent years rescuing and rehoming cats, I’ve seen just how misunderstood feline care can be. When I started my YouTube channel, my goal wasn’t to chase numbers but to help people understand their cats better, from nutrition and environment to emotional wellbeing. Over time, that mission evolved into something bigger — a global community for cat lovers who want to do right by their pets.

The article talks about how I transformed my small Hong Kong apartment into a safe and stimulating home for twelve cats. It’s proof that living with multiple cats in limited space can still be harmonious if you plan vertically and think like a cat. Every shelf, every corner, and every cozy spot is part of a system designed to give them comfort and freedom.

During the pandemic, I started getting messages from people who were struggling with their own cats — behavioral issues, litter box problems, stress, or simply feeling lost as new cat parents. That’s when I realized I could do more than make videos. I began offering personalized consultations, helping cat owners rebuild trust with their pets and design homes that support their instincts.

Beyond YouTube, I now host the podcast MeloCat’s Expert Chat, where I talk to veterinarians, behaviorists, and welfare advocates from around the world. Each episode is a reminder that knowledge and empathy go hand in hand when it comes to caring for animals.

At the heart of it all, my message remains simple: being a good cat parent isn’t about perfection or fancy products. It’s about understanding your cat’s needs and creating a home where both of you can thrive.
