Creating harmony between cats and humans has always been one of the themes closest to my heart. In this conversation, we explored how thoughtful design, daily routines, and a deeper understanding of feline behaviour can help create calmer, happier homes for everyone. I also shared why vertical space is so important — not just as an efficient use of space, but as a key part of feline wellness. Height gives cats security, confidence, exercise, stimulation, and the ability to observe their world in a way that feels natural to them.

We also discussed how many common cat challenges are often misunderstood. Cats frequently communicate stress, discomfort, or unmet needs in subtle ways. By learning to read their signals, adjusting the environment, and working with their instincts, many everyday issues can become manageable routines rather than ongoing frustrations.

Listeners also heard about the lives of community cats in Hong Kong — resilient animals cared for by dedicated volunteers who often work quietly behind the scenes. We spoke about how compassion takes many forms, and that even people who may not consider themselves animal lovers can still make a meaningful difference in small ways.

The conversation also touched on rescue work, rehoming efforts, content creation, and my belief that better understanding leads to better coexistence. Whether through education, storytelling, or hands-on help, the goal has always been to create happier lives for both animals and people.

🎧 You can listen to my full conversation with Stacy on the Community Cats Podcast Episode #476. I hope it inspires you to see how even small spaces and small actions can create big impact.
